Autocad requirements update#
We've heard of several initial issues with Windows 11, and whether they'll be fixed with a future update remains to be seen.

Although we've had great with Windows 10 over the several years we've used it in our office, we were far from impressed with Windows 8, 8.1, Millennium, 2000, and Vista. Further, a new OS isn't always a better one.

Windows 11 won't even be supported by AutoCAD until AutoCAD 2023 comes out.
Autocad requirements upgrade#
Windows 10 has been out for a long time and is a free upgrade from Windows 8 and 8.1. Windows 8 and 8.1 will reach EoL in January 2023. Windows 7 reached end of life (EoL) in January 2020, meaning no more security updates and no patching of vulnerabilities – essentially a backdoor into any computer running on that operating system (OS). Why do we only recommend Windows 10? Why not Windows 11? If you follow these basic requirements, you'll have everything you need to run Land F/X on a single computer.
